Hi my name is Hank Barney Jr. I'm 40 years old, and from Ohio, USA. I have an Associates Degree in Applied Science - major Farm Managment. I grew up on our family farm with two younger brothers and three younger sisters. In July 1981 I had a swimming mishap that left me a quadriplegic. I'm involved with The Northwestern Ohio Chapter Of The National Spinal Cord Injury Association. It's my job to publish our groups newsletter. I have a small business that I run from my home. It's called "Definitive Publishing Enterprises". I do a number of things, such as designing Brochures, Business Cards and Fliers for area businesses that are just starting out. My main area of work is a bit like Genealogy only I use your First Name. I can print out what your name's Root, it's Origin and Meaning. Add to that Personal Characteristics that amazingly enough match the person pretty well. It's just plain old fun to see what you are supposed to be like, and what you actually are. Then I print it all out on a colorful art-background that can be any one of 60. Ranging from ABC Blocks to Wolves in the winter. These backgrounds can be inserted into a number of useful and decorative products, such as Mugs, Steins, Mouse Pads, Key Chains, Holiday Ornaments, and a number of regular Wood, Acrylic and Mat Frames. All in different sizes and colors. And now I've added computer consulting to the mix. So many friends have asked me for help with their computers that I decided to take advantage of an opportunity. I'll even build a new system if someone asks for one. I can do upgrades as well. In the meantime why not check out the link below to get your own 100MB of free webspace? Well I'm here, now what do I do...*lol* I guess I fill you in on a typical day in my life. I'm a early riser 5 am to be exact. Then it's breakfast and the struggle to get dressed, it can be funny to see me flopping around like a fish out of water. It's one leg here and the other there. You need to see it to believe it. Like everyone else I check my email do some reading, shave and brush my teeth. I don't want to keep the dentist in business. And it's off to work, even though it's a short roll to my computer. Then it's time to reply to mail that needs tending to and checking out what's new in the world of computers and business. I chase down ideas for advertising my business and checking out some of my favorite sites to see what's changed from the previous day. If everything is quiet and my work is not piled up I'll wander off to The Veranda, a chat-room in the FreeTown site. Shoot the breeze for a little while and move on. Now don't get me wrong, I do this in the winter. When it warms up, I try to go fishing or camping as often as possible. | |||||||||||||||||||

| After a day out on the lake either in our boat or fishing off a pier someplace it's great to be able to kick back and watch a ball game or take a nap to rest up for the next trip out. | |||||||||||||||||||
